Technique for providing unilateral bronchopulmonary lavage.
A left clear plastic double-lumen endotracheal tube allows ventilation to the left
lung during lavage of the right lung (and vice versa). Normal saline is infused
and drained by gravity; clamps on the connection tubes determine the direction of
